In my Social Media Associate role, I helped the team develop and execute innovative organic social media marketing strategies that enhanced brand awareness and engagement across digital platforms. I also delivered creative assets to brand for social media and internal communications platforms.

Fisher Investments: Social Media (Private Client Group)

  • Fisher Investments is an independent money management firm that focuses on private clients globally. Their client base consists of senior individuals who are nearing or already enjoying their retirement, and are looking for a trusted advisor to manage their funds. On the social media front, the ongoing goal is to establish the brand as a thought leader in the financial news space to anchor trust with clients while also promoting their financial commentary, featured in news and media publications around the world. This is done on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, and the newly launched Threads.

    My focus is on the content strategy of the brand for our Private Client Group, which consists of promotion of Fisher Investments’ market commentary, commentary of the executive members of the company, and promotions of new columns our brand and spokespeople are featured in. I utilize our social media mix to promote the various content to establish us as a thought leader in the investing and retirement sphere among all appropriate platforms.

  • In 2024, I contributed to:

    • Growth to over 460,000 followers across our North American (US and Canada) platforms with a 10% net audience growth

    • Published over 2,000 posts to bolster our brand strategy and online messaging

    • Increased our engagement rate by over 25% with our video and content strategy and diversifying our content offerings

    • Introduced new market opportunities abroad, including launching social media campaigns for Fisher Investments Australia and Saudi Arabia

    • Expanding internal communications program with design experience to promote various awards on social media and internally to employees
