Run Your Own Race (Concept Brand)

Trying to find workout clothes that were both comfortable and cute can be overwhelming, amongst everyone trying to sell a new shirt or pair of leggings that promise to erase all your “problems”. “Run your own race” was created to remind others that it’s a losing game when you compare yourself to others, whether in fitness or general life, but your own determination and progress in meeting your own unique goals. We believe fitness isn’t just about if you can run a marathon or bench the highest at the gym, it’s also about the determination to keep going towards a better you, for you. Running your own race is the highest form of self love.
The Audience:
Currently any runner, gym goer, or the person who just loves their “hot girl walks”, who works daily to achieve their fitness and mental health goals on their own schedule.
Goals:
Since the brand is still in the beginning stages when approached with this project, the first goal is to launch the first line of products through social media promotion, influencers, and friends and family. From there, the plan was to table at race expos around the country to sell products and get more brand exposure through more organic marketing methods.

Mood Board for branding and product inspiration. Main themes for the athleisure brand include baggy hoodies, colorful sweatpants, illustrative patterns resembling running paths on a map, and fun inspirational photos of people on their wellness journeys.
